SPRINTS

Sprints is an activewear apparel and accessories brand based in Cincinnati. Their motto is to "Sweat In Color" and they are known for their bright and bold patterned hats. This company has allowed me to grow my interest of telling stories about cities, feelings, or food through print an pattern design. After interning at Sprints for 2 semesters some of the clients I have created patterns for include the Chicago Marathon, Austin Marathon, Cincinnati Zoo, New York City Marathon, ASICS in collaboration with Fleet Feet Cincinnati, and even the Boston Marathon.

Sprints x Fleet Feet Cincinnati x ASICS

Tasked with designing a custom pattern for Fleet Feet Cincinnati, commemorating the Flying Pig Marathon, I created "Run Cincy". The team at Fleet Feet then shared the pattern with their race partner, ASICS and from there, a custom marathon shoe was created. I had the opportunity to design the laces, insole, and box for the shoe, matching back to the pattern I created for the hat.

The second edition Fleet Feet Chicago custom pattern with elements including the Chicago Marquee, The Art Institute Lion, the flag, and even some pizza!

Sprints x cincinnati zoo, Fiona the hippo

Sometimes your client can be the most famous hippo on earth. Meet Fiona, a hippo born 6 weeks premature at the Cincinnati Zoo. Now a world phenomenon, this pattern celebrates Fiona, the queen of the Queen City, watermelon, her favorite food, and her best fish friends, the tilapia. With a little bit of sass, this hippo surely knows how to put on a show.

IN-LINE HAT PATTERNS

While a lot of my work is custom for clients depending on their scenario, I also have created additional in line prints which are available to our consumers through web, as well as, available through our wholesale partners. Some of my patterns include, but are not limited to, are: Sloths, Runnin' USA, America, etc.

SPRINTS X CINCINNATI ZOO CREW

CREW, or Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife, is part of the Cincinnati Zoo's research team. In partnership with them, this hat showcases the animals and horticulture they focus on saving.
